Paint in Italy in 2020
Join us in Cortona, Italy July 18-25th, 2020.
The city that was featured in the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” is the special location for our next workshop. Join Linda Richichi and her husband, Mark Weston, author and Jeopardy champion, on a special plein air workshop focused on painting the countryside, the alleys and streets, the people and more. Come take a peak at “Bramasole” from the movie. Cooking lessons are also an option (not included in the workshop fee for painting).
We will assist you in finding a perfect place to stay that is walking distance to our workshop. Enjoy five full days of painting and two full days of visiting other cities such as Montalcino or Montepulciano, which is popular for its “Nobile di Montepulciano” wine, one of the most appreciated Italian wines, in Italy and abroad. The town’s numerous wine cellars offer free wine tasting, often accompanied with cheese, and many of them have a terrace with panoramic views that we can sketch from. At the Church of Sant’ Agostino, a crucifix attributed to Donatello is displayed. We will split the cost of the drivers when visiting other locations keeping our cost to a minimum and our fun to full potential.
